Perpetual or temporary licenses

What forms of licensing do they have

Intecplan

Last Update 2 gün önce

Intecplan is offered in several licensing models: perpetual, subscription, temporary, and others.

Licenses with Definite Validity.

This is when the license runs for a defined period of time and for a specific number of projects. We call it a "Definite Term" license, not a "subscription," because you make a single payment for the term (say, 6 months or 3 years), and at the end of the term, it doesn't renew automatically , meaning no further charges are made . If you need more time, you must make a new purchase. This is because many users only need to run one or a few projects, unlike programs that require continuous use in operations, such as accounting software, where automatic renewals are more convenient.

Licenses purchased with validity of 3 years include upgrades with some restrictions . These restrictions may include, for example, changes to the number of remaining projects or permitted installations. This is because Intecplan uses third-party services (such as Google or Microsoft), and we cannot predict their future prices or terms. All upgrades are optional.

Licenses with a defined validity are offered on the website.

Perpetual License.

This means you make a single payment and your license will continue to work as long as you meet the system requirements, but it doesn't include updates, and there are also limitations on the number of projects. Updates for these licenses are purchased separately, if available. Perpetual licenses are becoming less common; it's a model that's tending to disappear, and in the case of Intecplan, they are offered only by special quote.

Universities

In the case of universities, many license models and types are offered, such as perpetual, temporary, student access, concurrent, etc., depending on the institution's needs.

Use is subject to acceptance of the license terms.
